The machine tool adopts a new design approach optimized through Finite Element Analysis (FEM), enhancing the overall strength and rigidity of the machine. The optimization of the workspace design reaches its pinnacle, facilitating a highly unified man-machine harmony.
General Layout: The direct connection design of the spindle and motor eliminates issues such as transmission noise, backlash, and vibrations from belts or gears. The motor output directly drives the spindle at speeds up to 20000/24000/30000rpm, providing high-quality thread tapping results and surface finishes. The main motor, paired with a low inertia motor, achieves a rapid acceleration from 0 to 20000 rpm in just 1 second, avoiding thread stripping during high-speed tapping direction changes.
The three-axis movement is supported by linear guides, enabling rapid movements of up to 30/48/48 meters per minute with the ability to bear heavy loads, ensuring precise positioning.
Components such as the machine base, worktable, column, beam, saddle, and spindle box are made from resin sand molded HT300 strength ductile iron, undergo secondary annealing to eliminate casting and machining stresses, guaranteeing high rigidity, stability, and quality.
Castings are analyzed using Finite Element Analysis to ensure appropriate structural strength and reinforcement ribs, providing high mechanical rigidity.
The machine features a BT30-21T arm-type servo tool changer with a tool change time of 1.6 seconds.

- Base: The equipment features a wide-span base design with four rails to effectively distribute gravity and processing loads. The short saddle extension significantly enhances dynamic accuracy.
- Column: Compared to a straight column design, the compact ‘H’ shape column offers improved stability, ample rigidity, and effectively reduces lateral forces that can cause tilting issues. The ‘H’ shape structure incorporates advanced shielding and chip evacuation systems, avoiding sheet metal leakage issues in the mechanical structure.
- Spindle Unit: The spindle unit is designed with optimal contact ratios between the spindle box and the column, featuring industry-grade spindles to achieve exceptional machine rigidity.
- High Precision, High Performance Spindle: Utilizing spindles manufactured by industry professionals boasting high speeds, precision, and performance.Standard 20,000 RPM spindles do not require an oil cooling unit for spindle cooling. An optional circulating oil cooling system reduces heat buildup during high-speed rotations, maintaining spindle temperatures consistently 2 degrees below room temperature in differential temperature mode, prolonging spindle life and precision.Equipped with low inertia spindle motors, achieving rapid acceleration with a 0-20,000 RPM time of just 1.5 seconds. These motors operate efficiently, with rapid speed changes, a direct drive mechanism reducing backlash issues, enhancing threading speed and quality while eliminating the noise and vibration problems associated with belt-driven spindles.
- Ball Screws and Linear Guides: To ensure machine rigidity and durability, the machine tool features imported ball screws and linear guides, offering increased load-bearing capacity and extended machine lifespan.
- Cutting Cooling System: The machine is equipped with a cooling system comprising a high-flow water pump and multiple nozzles, mitigating tool wear due to overheating during cutting and workpiece deformations from heat during processing.
- Machine Protection: The machine’s bed rails (XY axes) feature expandable synchronized sheet metal covers; the column rails (Z axis) incorporate accordion-style and shield-type protection. The entire machine is fully enclosed to prevent splashing of debris and coolant, ensuring operators work in a safe and comfortable environment.
- Machine Appearance: The machine’s sheet metal design and color scheme are sleek and futuristic, featuring a high-tech aesthetic. With larger doors, the design departs from traditional compact drill centers, offering a spacious feel.
