Gantry machining centers are machining centers in which the axis of the spindle Z-axis is set perpendicular to the table, and the overall structure is a large-scale machining center machine with a portal structural frame consisting of double columns and top beams, and a crossbeam in the middle of the double columns, which is capable of linear or curve-control motions in the three coordinate directions (X, Y, and Z-axes) to achieve high-precision machining of complex parts. The table can be rotated and tilted so that the workpiece can be placed at the right angle for machining, thus realizing multi-angle machining and multi-face machining. It is usually used for milling, hole etching, slot milling, etc. of large parts, castings, fuselages, and other medium and large complex parts.
